About Me
I have been a qualified teacher since 2007, working across all age groups and within a specialist provision for autistic children. I am a qualified Specialist Dyslexia Teacher and Assessor who has been a Special Educational Needs Coordinator in an ‘Outstanding’ primary school.
I am passionate about empowering children and young people in their learning by engaging them through fun, active and interesting learning activities. I believe it is important to nurture each child’s unique way of learning, in order to achieve their full potential, challenging their areas of strengths and progressing and supporting their areas of development.
I believe that all schools must reflect this ethos to become safe and successful learning spaces for all children. I have delivered training to many schools and educational professionals to improve their knowledge, understanding and practices to promote inclusive and neurodiversity affirming learning environments.
I hold an enhanced DBS check and am fully insured.
